Center Stage Youth Programs
Doo Wop Wed Widing Hood

Performance Dates: June 20-22 at Magnolia Theater

It’s the 1950s, hula-hoops are in high demand, and so is Little Red Riding Hood! Complete with the Big Bad Wolf and a sock-hopping ‘50s score, this family friendly adventure is guaranteed to end in happily-ever-after laughter for audiences and performers of all ages!

Rehearsals: June 2-13 at Shepherd of the Hills Church, June 16-19 at The Lincoln Center

Junior Cast: Ages 10-14, Rehearsals 9am to Noon

Senior Cast: Ages 12-17, Rehearsals 1pm to 4pm

Cost: $400 (Scholarships and Sibling Discounts available)

Story Theatre Youth Program
Fairly Funky Folklore
Performance Date: June 20
Ages 8-12

 

Learn a role, memorize lines, perform a character to bring a story to life! These two, fun tales are based on fairytale and folklore characters and their problem solving skills. Jump in and join the adventures with the fun characters in “Nose Woes” and “The Pizza Princess”


Rehearsals June 16th to 19th, 9AM - 2PM at Shepherd of the Hills Church (1200 S Taft Hill Rd)


Cost: $150

Center Stage Juniors

A 3-week musical theatre workshop in June for young actors to hone their auditioning, acting, singing, and dancing skills, culminating in a performance of a Broadway Jr. musical at the Lincoln Center Magnolia theatre. The Juniors are ages 10-14 to accommodate younger actors to participate, learning along with older, more experienced youth. They produce the same show as the Seniors, meeting to rehearse in the mornings. 

Center Stage Seniors

A 3-week musical theatre workshop in June for young actors to hone their auditioning, acting, singing and dancing skills, culminating in performance of a Broadway Jr. musical at the Lincoln Center Magnolia theatre. The Seniors are ages 12-17, to accommodate older actors extending their participation, learning along with younger actors. They produce the same show as the Juniors, meeting to rehearse in the afternoons. Young actors aged 12-14 are in the lucky middle age range, able to choose either program!

Story Theatre

A week- long theatre camp for kids 8-12, meeting each day from 9am to 2pm, culminating in a performance on the last day. The focus is on dramatizing a story, complete with learning lines, characterization, and performing skills to bring a story to life.
