Cost:

$230.00 for the first child and $210.00 for each additional child in the same family. (Full scholarships and half scholarships are available)

PBJR Apprentice and Assistant description

We will still be looking for Assistants and Apprentices for both the AM and PM sessions. Please note that a student could potentially be an apprentice/assistant AND participate in the HS show.

Scott Wright will again be directing. We are working with the Vineyard Church for rehearsal space. More on that later.

We then move rehearsals to the Lincoln Center on July 8th and all performances will take place July 11th-14th.

The Fort Collins Children’s Theatre’s 2012 Fall Production

“Peter Pan”

PETER PAN will be your guide as you enjoy your flight to Neverland.  This classic family musical will be performed with live orchestra and a cast of over thirty adults and teens.  Peter Pan will be played by Sarah Soltysik.  The Darling Family includes Chris Valcho as Mr. Darling/Captain Hook, Julie Rickett as Mrs. Darling, Megan Wolfelt as Wendy, Luke Ramirez as John, and Nathaniel Braswell as Michael.

     Other cast members include:  David Austin-Groen, Will Ferrie, Cory Garcia, Brad Handley, Ben Swall-Yarrington, Susan Rogers, Abby Cohen, Chris Collins, Mallory Harrison, Levi Gaylor, Gioia Fisk, Elena Madonado-Dunn, Rita Disibio, Hunter Cisneros-Meier, Raymond Engles, Morgan Hoog, Jacque Rickett, Leah Baechle, Kylee Conradson, Dani Harton, Anna Robertson, Rebekah Sampson, Shilo Lorenz, Aliya Randel, Meghan Sledge, Sydney Johnson and Tyler Zuschneid.

Try our School/Theatre Outreach program!

4-6 local performers will entertain groups large or small for an hour of fun with familiar folktale/fairytale characters.

We use original scripts of adapted tales that include audience interaction and our simple set can work anywhere.

Our usual charge is $75 an hour, but we will accept a contribution to FCCT, or work it out as an “in-kind” donation if you don’t have a budget at all.

Our 2012 – 2013 season brings “Goldy and the Three Bears” and “Little Red Riding Hood” to life!

Available from Sept to November and February to June!

Auditioners should come prepared with 16 bars of a song, a 1 – 2 minute monologue or reading, and be dressed for movement.

Audition Workshop – Sunday, August 12 at the Backstage Warehouse, 1:00 – 3:00pm.
Never been to an audition and don’t know what to expect, or have been to one and wished you had been better prepared? There will be an Audition Workshop just for you. Auditions can be fun and an opportunity to grow as a performer. Come learn more about the process of preparing yourself for an audition from our professional staff.

Four 30 minute segments will include:
1) introductions of directors, staff, board, plus an overview of the show and opportunity to sign up for an audition slot.
2) focus on dance (what to expect at auditions).
3) focus on reading (suggestions and samples suitable for auditions).
4) focus on music (suggestions and samples suitable for auditions).

Tickets for the show “Enchanted Sleeping Beauty” go on sale at the Lincoln Center box office June 5th. $5.00 each.

What’s the catch? You need to have a flexible work schedule that allows for performing these fun fairytales during the day at school assemblies, or early evenings for family nights at schools. Rehearsals are once a week on Tuesdays, as needed to prepare for an upcoming performance, with breaks built in to accommodate individual scheduling needs.

This would not be a year-round commitment. Seasonal guidelines are being established:

• Summer – Our “development” time to prepare 3 new stories for the next “season,” with potential performances at summer programs using already established stories and actors. Rehearsals will be set as needed to train new actors.
• Fall – Sept. 1 to Oct. 31, will be open to school performances and therefore weekly rehearsals will be needed to prepare and perform.
• Winter – Nov. 1 to Jan. 1 – break time for us since this is when the main stage production is in full swing, and the holidays are too busy. No performances or rehearsals during this time.
• Spring – Jan. to June 1 – Potentially our busiest time performing at schools.
