“Peter Pan” Auditions

Fort Collins Children’s Theatre will be holding auditions for “Peter Pan” Saturday, August 25, 2012.
12 – 17 years of age, 9:00am – Noon
18 – Up, 1:00 – 5:00pm
Callbacks will be Sunday, August 26, 2012, 1:00 – 5:00pm at a location to be determined.

Auditions will be held at:
The Backstage Warehouse
720 East Vine Drive
Fort Collins, CO 80525

Auditioners should come prepared with 16 bars of a song, a 1 – 2 minute monologue or reading, and be dressed for movement.

Audition Workshop – Sunday, August 12 at the Backstage Warehouse, 1:00 – 3:00pm.
Never been to an audition and don’t know what to expect, or have been to one and wished you had been better prepared? There will be an Audition Workshop just for you. Auditions can be fun and an opportunity to grow as a performer. Come learn more about the process of preparing yourself for an audition from our professional staff.

Four 30 minute segments will include:
1) introductions of directors, staff, board, plus an overview of the show and opportunity to sign up for an audition slot.
2) focus on dance (what to expect at auditions).
3) focus on reading (suggestions and samples suitable for auditions).
4) focus on music (suggestions and samples suitable for auditions).
